  • Stephanie Eldridge, MD, MPH

    Founder | Physician

Dr. Stephanie Eldridge is a board-certified family physician and co-founder of MyDoc Concierge of Tampa Bay with her husband, Dr. Amir Shirmohammad. Dr. Eldridge earned her Medical Doctor degree from Tulane University in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, cum laude, from Tulane’s Newcomb College, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Dr. Eldridge received several academic awards, including the Hawthorne Scholarship and the Jo Ellen Smith Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence and community service. She was also admitted to the National Biological Honor Society and Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society. In addition to pursing her passion in medicine and providing care to her patients, Dr. Eldridge has served as a physician for the University of Central Florida Student Services and Florida Hospital Centra Care. She is a dedicated teacher as well, serving on the faculty at Florida State University College of Medicine and University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Eldridge is committed to serving the local community. Tampa Bay Making a Difference is a charity that she and Dr. Shirmohammad founded in 2016 to inspire others to “do good” in the Tampa Bay community. Through this mission she is constantly looking for ways to make the community better. This has been evident throughout the years with her steadfast involvement at Jesuit High School from providing physicals to being involved in the annual Thanksgiving Drive and Migrant Education Program. Her latest interest in community service has been working with the Hope Children’s Home, providing donations to the children and their families. She has participated as fundraiser and physician for the Special Olympics, performed physicals at several area schools, served as a Chairperson for the Gulfside Hospice Hike for Hospice, and served as physician for Orange County’s After Hours Walk-In Clinic. She was also a medical team member for the PGA Funai Golf Classic and the Walt Disney World Marathon. With Dr. Shirmohammad, Dr. Eldridge has been featured in several media outlets including The St. Petersburg Times, the Trinity Neighborhood News, EastLake Neighborhood News and Odessa Neighborhood News. Dr. Shirmohammad and Dr. Eldridge were the first concierge medicine physicians in Trinity, Florida and Pasco County in 2007. They were placed on the cover of the St. Petersburg Times twice for the new and different kind of care they were bringing into the area. They are proud to re-introduce themselves and their new practice, MyDoc Concierge of Tampa Bay, where you can find “World-Class Quality Care Right Here at Home!” Dr. Eldridge is loved and cherished by her patients. “I just love her! She is so sweet and patient with my mother and I,” describes one of her patients. “As a wife, mother, sister and daughter, women’s health is incredibly important to me. I focus on prevention and education, as well as treatment. Women are often the backbone of the household and I feel my role is to remind all of these wonderful women to care for themselves too,” states Dr. Eldridge. To achieve this goal, she exclusively sees women in her practice, providing comprehensive primary care. Dr. Eldridge understands that women are often overwhelmed and spread too thin, balancing their career and family’s needs. This causes women to neglect what is most important-their own health! Putting others first and working hard is the mantra for most women, whether they realize it or not; Dr. Eldridge’s passion is to reverse the script and remind women that their health is important too. Women need to prioritize their mental, spiritual and physical health in order to continue to succeed. Dr. Eldridge often tells her patients, “If you don’t care for yourself, how can you care for others?” Dr. Eldridge is excited to expand her concierge practice to provide a more personalized and enhanced patient-doctor relationship. With a limited membership practice, Dr. Eldridge can provide a level of access and care that is unachievable in a typical medical practice. When not working, Dr. Eldridge enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters and supporting her girls in their passions and dreams, watching movies, and exercising.
